The Germination Project hosted the Fellows at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the Artful Thinking Workshop. Developed by Project Zero at Harvard University, the artful thinking approach focuses on six thinking dispositions: Observing and Describing, Questioning and Investigating, Reasoning, Comparing and Connecting, Exploring Viewpoints, and Finding Complexity.
Using the museum’s famed art collection, the goals of the workshop, curated by the the PMA, were to use art observation skills, to hone evidential reasoning, increase comfort with ambiguity and improve communication skills.
