IMAGINING POSSIBLE FUTURES: ESSAY CONTEST WINNER

Last week, the Philadelphia Museum of Art hosted an opening reception for its latest exhibit — Designs for Different Futures. At the reception, Timothy Rub, PMA’s Director, announced, and recognized from stage, the winner of the Raju Foundation’s Annual essay contest. And the winner is …. Mary Cipperman!

Mary received a scholarship award, an apprenticeship with the curatorial team and, on behalf of the Raju Foundation, acquired one of the works in the exhibit: Raising Robotic Natives, which will be donated to the Museum, on Mary’s behalf and under her name, to the permanent collection of the Museum.
